Care Tips

The hair growth cycle is divided into 3 stages, growth phase → fading phase → dormant phase.
First of all, 80% of hair follicles on the scalp are in the growth phase, which can last from 2 to 6 years. Then, it will enter the fading phase, where the hair will gradually break away from the hair follicles and fall out naturally, lasting about 2 to 5 weeks. Finally, it will enter a dormant period of three to four months. New hair will gradually form and old hair will gradually fall off. This will happen at the same time, so the hair loss will not be obvious.

How to wash your hair?

The scalp has countless sweat glands and sebaceous glands, and is covered with hair, which makes it difficult to dissipate heat and easily accumulate bacteria and dandruff. Therefore, personal hygiene needs to be done every day. It is better to use warm water when washing your hair, because if the water temperature is too low, it is difficult to remove oil and dirt, while if the water temperature is too high, it will easily damage the scalp, increase dandruff, and fail to achieve the cleaning effect. Finally, dry your hair with a towel or air-dry it naturally. You can also choose to use a low-temperature/cold-air hair dryer to speed up drying.

Conditioner is not suitable for everyone

The function of conditioner is to moisturize the hair ends, such as dryness or split ends.

And if you are known to have oily skin, you may not need to use hair conditioner as a hair care product. Excessive moisturizing may cause oily hair and easily accumulate bacteria and dandruff. In severe cases, it may cause seborrheic alopecia or inflammation.

Hair needs to be protected from the sun

In addition to sun protection for your skin, your hair actually needs sun protection.

If your hair is exposed to strong sunlight for a long time, ultraviolet rays will destroy the proteins in the hair and damage the hair core. The melanin in the hair core will be affected, causing dryness and loss of luster. In severe cases, the hair may even break. This is all because of UV rays.

Therefore, if you need to be exposed to low sunlight that day, such as hiking, water sports, etc., remember to prepare a hat or sunscreen spray to protect your hair from the sun.
